Job summary

NXT Recruitment is recruiting an experienced M&E Project Manager for a growing construction, engineering and renewable energy business based in Cumbria. The role covers mechanical and electrical projects across Cumbria and South West Scotland, from planning to completion, coordinating clients, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.

You will manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, maintain costs and deadlines, and take ownership to solve problems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing or supervising M&E projects.
• Experience within construction, building services or a related environment.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Able to think on your feet and make practical decisions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and electrical projects from initial planning through to completion.
• Oversee site teams, subcontractors and other trades involved in project delivery.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and resources to keep projects on track.
• Manage multiple projects and competing priorities at the same time.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and customers.
• Ensure works are completed safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
