Due to the continued success of our internal Engineering and Sustainable Delivery department, we are growing and investing in our project delivery teams. We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident, and motivated M&E Project Engineer to join the Avonmouth team in Bristol.
As the M&E Project Engineer, you will work as part of our in-house engineering team and assist in the engineering, management, and delivery of MEICA projects at Avonmouth Water Recycling Centre.
Your primary duty will be to collaborate closely with the M&E Project Managers to ensure projects meet purpose and engineering requirements, while introducing innovative engineering solutions to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
You will serve as the key technical contact for mechanical and electrical engineering, including aspects of DSEAR and construction issues on your projects.
This role is crucial as a link between design and delivery, involving both office and site-based work. Liaising with internal delivery, commercial, and operational teams will also be key.

We seek a highly enthusiastic and passionate M&E Project Engineer with a proven track record of delivering projects and programs.
You should have a solid technical understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering, with a desire to continually develop your skills. Experience in the water industry and familiarity with CDM, DSEAR, and Compex is advantageous but not essential.
Successful candidates will be effective communicators, capable of creative engineering thinking, and able to make informed decisions. You should be comfortable managing your time, planning work independently, and influencing at various levels within the organization. Commercial awareness and contractual understanding are also important.
Ideally, you will hold a HND/Degree or equivalent experience, with professional registration or seeking registration being desirable, emphasizing personal and professional growth.
