Job summary

Gold Group is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer for a major M&E project at Gatwick Airport. This hybrid role combines on-site and remote work, reporting to the Planning Manager to develop, maintain and monitor construction programmes using Primavera P6.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams, manage risks and provide progress reports to support informed project decisions. NEC contracts knowledge and UK contractor experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

Experience as a Planning Engineer in a UK main or specialist contractor.
Advanced user of Primavera P6.
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Full right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and update detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6.
Support the Planning Manager in planning and delivery of a major M&E package.
Monitor programme performance, progress and milestones.
Identify programme risks, delays and opportunities, recommending mitigation strategies.
Produce progress reports, programme updates and critical path analysis for the project team and client.
Collaborate with construction, engineering, commercial and design teams to achieve objectives.
