Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Manager for a Derby-based role. You will oversee supply chain, planning, procurement and delivery of M&E works across bids and projects, ensuring technical excellence and timely completion.

The ideal candidate holds an HND or higher in electrical engineering with at least four years in similar roles, strong electrical infrastructure knowledge, and proficiency in Excel/Word to support bid preparation and delivery under tight

Qualifications

• HND or higher in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in M&E management.
• Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and principles.
• Excellent IT skills including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and attend site surveys at tender and project delivery stages.
• Evaluate M&E supplier proposals for scope, risk and cost.
• Support bid team with pricing strategy and clarifications for M&E scope.
• Attend design meetings and provide technical delivery support.
• Oversee M&E sub-contract works, manage supplier progress and documentation.
• Review RAMS, FATs and supplier designs.
• Coordinate designers and installers across projects.
• Handover installation and support commissioning activities.
