Job summary

Premier Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for an M&E Manager in Derby to oversee supply chain operations and support planning, procurement and delivery of M&E works across bids and projects.

The successful candidate will hold at least an HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, have ~4 years' experience in a similar role, and be proficient with Excel and Word. UK work eligibility and willingness to work on site are essential.

Qualifications

• HND or above in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 4 years' experience in a similar role with familiarity of electrical infrastructure and principles.
• Ability to support bids/preconstruction activities and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site surveys at tender and project delivery stages.
• Evaluate M&E supplier proposals for scope, risk, programme and commercial alignment.
• Support bid team with pricing strategy, risk allowances and clarifications for M&E scope.
• Produce technical and delivery requirements for supplier quotations and evaluations.
• Attend design meetings with the design sub-contractor as required.
• Support Site Supervisor and Project Managers in planning, execution and completion of M&E works.
• Manage supplier designs, FATs, and co-ordination of designers and installers.
• Review site RAMS and test documentation for completeness and alignment.
