Job summary

Velocity Recruitment is seeking an experienced M&E Site Manager (Mechanical Bias) to join a leading fit-out contractor in Manchester on a £5M CAT A commercial project. You'll take responsibility for managing the mechanical package on site, coordinating M&E subcontractors, and delivering works safely, on programme and to the highest quality, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and site team.

The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, CAT A/CAT B fit out

Qualifications

• Proven experience as M&E Site Manager with a strong mechanical background.
• CAT A and/or CAT B commercial fit out experience.
• Ability to coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning, QA and handover processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the mechanical package on site and oversee on-site works.
• Coordinate M&E subcontractors to ensure works progress on time.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and wider site team to maintain project momentum.

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Bias M&E Site Manager to join a leading fit out contractor on a 70,000 sq ft CAT A commercial fit out in Manchester, valued at £5 million.

You’ll take responsibility for managing the mechanical package on site, coordinating M&E subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality, while working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as an M&E Site Manager with a strong mechanical background.
• Previous CAT A and/or CAT B commercial fit out experience.
• Ability to coordinate mechanical and electrical subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning, QA and handover processes.
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid.
