Overview

Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer Required - Monday to Friday - Sheffield - Start ASAP - Temp to perm

Are you immediately available and looking for a temp to perm role? Do you have multiskilled maintenance experience?

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM building services company based in a commercial environment on a static basis in Sheffield. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Sheffield on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The role requires a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance with a proven track record in electrical and mechanical building maintenance. The company offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £25.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Lighting (small installations, fault-finding, lamping, changing ballasts, control panel, power distribution)
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers – reset
• Water Treatment (temperature checks / not dosing)
• Plumbing – unblock toilets
• BMS System – monitor (e.g. hot & cold)
• UPS Systems – monitor / take readings
• General building fabric
• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, motors, seals, bearings

Hours of work

08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week) – Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – you must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
• City & Guilds – 17th or 18th Edition if electrically biased
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• Excellent customer service skill
