M&E Engineering Supervisor–Victoria

Salary: £52,000 + Plenty of Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM – 5PM

My client, who has recently won a large contract, is currently recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor based in a Commercial Building in South West London. You will be responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships, managing engineers daily, producing reports, attending client meetings, conducting engineer audits, and safety briefings. You will assist in developing project works, proactively engage with clients, quote for small works, and manage these works to ensure timely and within budget delivery. The company offers a competitive salary of £52,000 and opportunities for progression within a supportive management environment.

Key Duties include:

• Liaising closely with the Client/Tenants
• Operating building systems effectively
• Preparing quotations for clients
• Understanding BMS systems in detail
• Issuing site Permits as part of the Safe System of Work
• Completing PPM and reactive tasks, updating systems accordingly
• Carrying out daily tours and reporting or repairing defects
• Ordering materials promptly
• Supervising repairs and voids contracts, ensuring efficiency and productivity
• Ensuring subcontractor works meet standards and KPIs
• Communicating with customers and resolving issues
• Completing and submitting all paperwork and reports as per procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications
• Approved apprenticeship or relevant experience in Building Services
• Health & Safety Training
• Supervisory/Management experience
• Experience as an M&E supervisor in a commercial setting, performing PPMs
• Ability to supervise Reactive Repairs
• Experience with statutory & mandatory compliance records and certifications, uploaded onto service systems
• NVQ Level 2-3 in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines or equivalent qualifications
