M&E Engineering Supervisor – £59,000

Location: Fenchurch Street

Salary: £59,000 + Plenty of Overtime

Hours: Monday to Friday Days 8AM – 5PM

One of the well-known companies in the FM and Maintenance industry is currently looking to recruit a key member of staff for a contract in London Liverpool Street. The M&E Supervisor will oversee service delivery of the engineering contract, manage a team of engineers, and maintain excellent customer relations to ensure high standards of service and customer care. The ideal candidate may have supervisory experience in maintenance or building services, or be an electrical professional seeking advancement into a supervisory role. The role involves client interaction, managing subcontractors, and generating operational reports.

The candidate should have experience in a high-profile commercial environment requiring critical and non-critical maintenance, with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record in building services.

Key Duties include:

• Collaborating closely with clients and tenants
• Operating building systems efficiently
• Acting as the Duty Authorized Person (HV)
• Preparing quotations for clients
• Understanding BMS systems in detail
• Issuing site Permits as part of safety procedures
• Completing PPM and reactive tasks, updating systems accordingly
• Conducting daily site tours, reporting or repairing defects via helpdesk
• Ordering materials timely

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Qualifications
• Apprenticeship or relevant experience in Building Services
• Health & Safety Training
• Supervisory/Management experience
• Experience in a commercial M&E environment performing PPMs
• Ability to supervise reactive repairs
• Knowledge of statutory and mandatory compliance records and certification, with experience uploading onto service systems
• NVQ Level 2-3 in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines or equivalent
• Experience working with various manufacturers' systems, skilled in fault diagnosis and PPMs according to SFG20 or similar standards
• Knowledge of safe systems of work procedures, PTW, RAMS, etc.
