Qualifications

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing planned preventative maintenance, statutory compliance tasks, and reactive repairs on Low Voltage electrical systems
  • Carrying out routine PPM tasks following the SFG20 framework
  • Responding to emergencies such as boiler failures
  • Using test and monitoring equipment to maintain system performance and diagnose faults
  • Adjusting systems to ensure proper operation of plant and equipment
  • Conducting electrical, mechanical, and system checks in compliance with legislation
  • Identifying and managing damaged works, following damage procedures to recover costs
  • Managing contractors with support from the site manager
  • Completing risk assessments and work worksheets, obtaining client approval

Candidate requirements include:

  • Experience in Engineering Services Maintenance
  • Troubleshooting skills in Air Conditioning
  • Qualifications and experience in Periodic Inspections (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role within a PFI/education contract
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Commitment, determination, and resilience
  • Good people skills to coach and inspire staff
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Performance-driven with a focus on operational improvement
