West Yorkshire Police is seeking a Clerk of Works (Mechanical and Electrical) to assure on-site M&E works across a live estate of around 100 buildings. You will inspect, monitor contractor performance, and ensure compliance with project specifications and health and safety requirements.

Central Wakefield base with travel across West Yorkshire. The role requires strong building services expertise, ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to maintaining

Formación

• Qualified building services engineer with mechanical and electrical experience.
• Knowledge of current regulations and Health and Safety law.
• Experience coordinating M&E contractors and conducting on-site inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise mechanical and electrical works across the estate and major projects.
• Carry out on-site inspections, audits, and validations to ensure design compliance.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely delivery within tender specifications.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain standards.
• Witness testing and commissioning of new installations and provide technical guidance.
