An established industry player is looking for reliable M&E Clerks of Works/Quality Managers for a long-term contract role. This site-based position focuses on overseeing mechanical and electrical installations, ensuring quality and compliance throughout the project. You will conduct daily inspections, manage project documentation, and collaborate closely with clients and contractors to facilitate smooth handovers. We are seeking reliable and experienced M&E Clerk of Works / Quality Managers for a long-term contract role. The position is site-based and focused on overseeing mechanical and electrical installations to ensure quality, compliance, and smooth handovers.
Employment Type: Contract (Long-Term) - Self-Employed
Rate: Up to £300 per day (self-employed)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections of M&E installations.
Organise and lead site walkdowns with clients to support handover documentation.
Ensure accurate record-keeping and document control.
Upload and manage all project documentation via the site's shared digital platform.
Collaborate closely with clients, site teams, and contractors.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in a similar Clerk of Works or M&E Quality Manager role.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Competent with email, document control, and online platforms.
Comfortable working independently on a busy, active site.
Desirable:
Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications.
CSCS card or equivalent certification.
