Job summary

A local building services company is seeking an AutoCAD specialist in Nelson, UK, to manage enhancements to their AutoCAD system and support their estimating and contracting teams. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Office software, previous experience in a building services environment, and must possess a driving license. Continuous professional development is expected.

• Prior experience of working in a Building Services Environment.

Job Responsibility AutoCAD • Managing and implementing enhancements to our Autocad system • Responsibility for producing all drawings from initial design to as built including prefabrication drawings. • Developing marked up layouts into working AutoCAD drawings to enable installation of service on site Administrative • Administrative support to our estimating and contracting teams to provide assistance in take offs/ordering materials/issuing information • To compile end of project documentation including record drawings and OMI's for issue to clients. Skills/Qualifications • In depth knowledge of AutoCAD software • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office • Prior experience of working in a Building Services Environment • The successful candidate will be expected to undertake paid Continual Professional Development in order to enhance skills • A driving licence is essential. The successful candidate will have to undergo CRB Clearance
