We have a great opportunity for a Bar & Restaurant Manager to join the group at Leonardo Hotels.
We want you to lead a brilliant and diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel.
Experience we expect:
- Department Manager or exceptional Duty Manager looking for their first HOD role
- Background in branded hotels or restaurants is preferred – so you will understand how we work and settle in quickly
- Excellent customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
- Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it
- Great at up-selling – anticipating customer needs as well as improving the bottom line
- Ability to manage the team and resources to ensure departments are equipped for service via cost controls, stock monitoring, and good rota management
- Effective communication and motivation skills to provide day-to-day leadership and direction
- Proficiency in computer systems – experience with Opera, SAP, and Micros is preferred
Your responsibilities will be:
- Manage the daily operations of the Food and Beverage Department
- Be present in the hotel, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest service during peak times
- Plan and prepare the hotel for daily business, including morning meetings and team communication
- Maintain customer satisfaction through quality control standards for products and services, monitored by our mystery guest
- Control costs and monitor productivity
- Keep the team informed about departmental, hotel, and company activities through daily communication
- Develop sales plans aligned with the annual budget, maximising sales through upselling, incentives, and promotions
- Promptly resolve customer complaints and monitor feedback via TripAdvisor and other platforms, implementing improvements as needed
- Lead and develop an energetic workforce, involved in recruitment, learning and development, and team engagement initiatives
