Job description

M & E Contracts Manager needed in Portsmouth - Paying £30 per hr (Ref: 5266583)

Position Type: Full-time, temporary

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and oversee mechanical and electrical (M&E) contracts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and quality standards.
  2. Provide professional advice on M&E matters, assessing the quality of works and identifying statutory requirements.
  3. Manage strategic service contracts, with a strong understanding of the NEC4 Term Service Contract suite.
  4. Procure term service contracts by developing scope of service documentation, contracting models, and evaluating bids in line with Public Procurement Regulations.
  5. Monitor and control significant budgets, ensuring services are delivered within available budgets.
  6. Prepare and develop strategies, policies, and guidance documents to ensure statutory compliance.
