A leading accountancy practice is seeking a Director to join its high-performing M&A Tax Advisory team. This role provides an opportunity to lead complex transactions, advise top-tier private equity houses and infrastructure funds, and drive strategic growth in the market.
As a senior leader in the firm, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, leading advisory engagements, and managing a high-caliber team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and commercial success.
Provide strategic tax advisory on high-profile M&A transactions, ensuring seamless execution across all phases of the deal cycle.
Lead and manage client engagements, building long-term relationships with key private equity and infrastructure clients.
Shape tax structuring strategies, advising on due diligence, SPA review, financing arrangements, and post-acquisition implementation.
Drive business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and expanding market presence through thought leadership.
Mentor and develop the team, fostering expertise, technical excellence, and career growth for junior professionals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and regulatory teams to align tax strategy with broader business objectives.
Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments, ensuring clients receive the most up-to-date insights.
Extensive experience in M&A tax advisory, ideally within a Big 4 or leading accountancy firm.
Proven track record in leading client engagements and managing complex transactions.
Strong expertise in private equity and infrastructure tax, with deep technical knowledge and commercial acumen.
ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
Established leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to drive team performance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with C-suite executives.
Demonstrated success in business development, contributing to revenue growth and market expansion.
