Are you a Corporate Finance Manager ready to make the move to Associate Director? Or are you an Associate Director in Corporate Finance looking to join a firm with an exciting growth plan? If so, this could be the role for you!

Our client is rapidly expanding their Corporate Finance M+A team in Manchester. Due to strong deals in 2024 and a healthy pipeline for 2025, they are seeking an experienced corporate financier who can hit the ground running.

The firm is sector-agnostic, handling deal values from 10-100m, on both buy and sell sides.

You will support financial investors, PE, and other funders. Additionally, you will help develop new client relationships through networking events, business development activities, and deal origination initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing deals, working with substantial firms and Private Equity funds.
  2. Project managing transactions to ensure deal processes are completed, leading meetings with junior team members' support.
  3. Conducting detailed research on companies, sectors, and identifying potential transactions, investors, buyers, and sellers.
  4. Managing project risks, issues, and billing/cost recovery.
  5. Overseeing the production of deal documentation such as IMs, Teasers, and Buyer Research packs.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to have:

  1. At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance.
  2. Strong ability to interpret and present outputs from financial models to support commercial advice.
  3. An industry-relevant qualification, e.g., ACA, though exceptions may be made for candidates with significant experience.
