Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP is seeking a Manager in M&A Tax to provide tax structuring advice and due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients.

You will lead discussions with clients and advisers, work with TAS, FDD and SPA teams, manage due diligence meetings, review reports and prepare structuring analyses. The role offers flexible working and development opportunities within a supportive, high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Qualified chartered accountant or tax adviser (ACA/CA/CTA/ADIT or equivalent).
• UK tax practice experience, including M&A tax advisory.
• Proven client handling and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax structuring discussions with clients and legal advisers.
• Collaborate with FDD and SPA Advisory teams to align workstreams from TAS to execution.
• Lead due diligence meetings, review reports, and ensure robust, well-supported outputs.
