Job summary

Career Legal seeks an experienced M&A/Private Equity Paralegal to join a top US law firm’s London team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers hybrid working with compensation up to £50,000 per year plus OT and benefits.

You’ll handle due diligence, research, drafting and closing document coordination, supporting the M&A/Private Equity practice. Regular London office attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Completed LLB/GDL with minimum 2:1 or equivalent.
• A-Level results of AAB or equivalent.
• Experience in M&A and/or Private Equity.
• Willingness to commute to London office regularly.

Our client, a top US law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their M&A Private Equity team in London on a 12m FTC – working as their new Paralegal.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a M&A and/or Private Equity Paralegal join a leading and successful team in London.

As the successful Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Managing due diligence tasks – maintaining trackers, summarising findings, collecting documents, etc
• Conducting extensive market and legal research
• Handling general administrative tasks – proofreading, preparing filings, etc
• Assisting with Companies House filings and verifying corporate records
• Coordinating deal execution – signing/closing checklists, collating signatures, preparing closing bibles
• Assisting with drafting and reviewing various transaction documents

To be considered for this new Paralegal opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

• Have a completed LLB/GDL (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of ‘AAB’ at A-Level (or equivalent)
• Have previous/existing experience within M&A and/or Private Equity
• Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
