Job summary

US Law Firm in London is seeking an experienced Funds Paralegal for a 12-month fixed-term contract in the Asset Management team. The role involves supporting Attorneys in London and the US, managing files, researching markets, drafting fund documents, and preparing closing binders.

The ideal candidate will have a completed LLB/GDL with at least 2:1 and A-levels AAB, plus prior Corporate Paralegal experience with funds exposure. Regular commuting to the London office is required.

Qualifications

• LLB/GDL with a minimum 2:1 or equivalent.
• A-levels with AAB or equivalent.
• Previous Corporate Paralegal experience, funds experience preferred.
• Commitment to commute to London office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Support Attorneys and Paralegals in London and New York (US).
• Manage daily flow of client files and documents.
• Conduct extensive legal and market research.
• Draft fund-related documents and amend fund agreements/contracts.

Our client, a top US law firm, is actively seeking an experienced Paralegal to join their Asset Management team in London on a 12m FTC – working as their new Funds Paralegal.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal (ideally with Funds experience) to join a leading and successful team in London.

As the successful Paralegal, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Working closely with Attorneys and Paralegals in both London and the US (New York)
• Managing the daily flow of files and documents from clients
• Conducting extensive legal and market research
• Drafting fund related documents and processing amendments to fund agreements/contracts
• Proofreading various legal documents
• Preparing closing bibles

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

• Have a completed LLB/GDL (minimum of 2:1 or equivalent)
• Have a minimum of ‘AAB’ at A-level (or equivalent)
• Have previous experience as a Corporate Paralegal (Funds experience is preferred)
• Be able to commute to the London office on a regular basis
