A leading global recruitment consultancy is seeking an experienced M&A Counsel located in the United Kingdom. The role involves project managing the closing stages of significant international deals, ensuring that internal processes are efficient, deadlines are met, and stakeholder expectations are managed. Candidates should have extensive experience in all stages of M&A transactions and must have worked in reputable law firms. In-house experience is an advantage but not essential.
Working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel, the M&A Counsel will be required to project manage the closing stages of several key international details for the business.
The key drafting and negotiation is being handled by external law firms, so your role will be to ensure everything is in place internally, deadlines are being met and stakeholder expectations are being managed.
This role requires someone who is at least 7 years' PQE (although the more experience, the better) and applications from all levels will be considered on merit. You must possess extensive experience of all stages of M&A transactions. You will have worked for at least five years in a respected city or national law firm after qualifying. Any in-house experience would be advantageous but not essential.
