Job Description: M&A Division Head (Student Role)

Position: M&A Division Head

Reports to: Executive Line at ProA Investment Banking Club

Division: Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)

Salary: Non-remunerated

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 18 analysts, ensuring effective collaboration and high-quality work output .
  • Recruitment: Recruit 6 new analysts per month, helping to build and expand the M&A division .
  • Team Oversight: Supervise and review the reports, research, and analysis produced by the team .
  • Business Development: Support business development activities, helping to identify and pursue new opportunities in the M&A space .
  • Strategic Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to the executive line at ProA Investment Banking Club, ensuring alignment with overall goals and objectives .
  • Mentorship & Training: Guide and mentor junior analysts, promoting their professional growth within the M&A field .

Requirements:

  • Eligibility: Open only to students or recent graduates .
  • M&A Knowledge: A solid understanding of mergers and acquisitions, with prior experience being a plus .
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and strategic business information .
  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a remote team .
  • Time Management: Ability to manage 7-10 hours per week in a remote working environment, balancing academic and professional commitments .
