Job summary

Greenwich Partners Limited is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join our client, a global investor in oil and gas, metals and mining, to originate and execute investments. You will build financial models, assess markets and present insights to senior management for strategic decisions.

The role offers exposure across deal origination, negotiation and execution, plus portfolio management, with a path to deepen sector expertise in energy and infrastructure within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&A with a major bank or advisor is preferred.
• Background in private equity or infrastructure funds is advantageous.
• Energy, Oil & Gas, Chemicals, or Infrastructure exposure is useful.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential investments for the company.

They are now looking to add a Corporate Development Associate to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the business.

Day to day, this will involve:

• identification of potential investments for the company
• carrying out an initial business, sector and financial review of the target
• financial modelling of the projected returns on the investment
• presenting analysis to senior management
• working on the negotiation and execution of the deal
• The successful candidate can expect to work on all aspects of the deal execution process.
• portfolio management of asset

You are most likely to be working as follows:

• Associate (or very good senior analyst) in M&A with a major bank or advisor
• Investment professional from a private equity or infrastructure fund
• Energy, Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Infrastructure experience is useful
