Are you a Corporate Finance Manager ready to make the move to Associate Director? Or are you a Corporate Finance Associate Director ready to join a firm with an exciting future growth plan?

Our client is rapidly expanding their Corporate Finance M&A team in Manchester. Due to strong deals in 2024 and a promising pipeline for the remainder of 2025, they are seeking an experienced corporate financier who can hit the ground running.

The firm is sector agnostic, handling deal values from 10-100m, on both buy and sell sides.

You will support financial investors, PE, and other funders. Additionally, you will help develop new client relationships through networking events, business development activities, and deal origination initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing deals with substantial firms and Private Equity funds.
  • Project managing transactions to ensure deal process completion and leading meetings with junior team members.
  • Conducting detailed research on companies and sectors to identify potential transactions and investors/buyers/sellers.
  • Managing project risks, issues, and billing/cost recovery.
  • Overseeing the production of deal documentation, including IMs, Teasers, and Buyer Research packs.

As the successful candidate, you will be expected to have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance.
  • Strong ability to interpret and present outputs from financial models to support commercial advice.
  • An industry-relevant qualification, such as ACA, though exceptions may be made for candidates with significant experience.
