M&A Associate – Clean Energy Advisory

Location: London

Sector: Corporate Finance | Clean Energy | M&A

A fast-growing financial advisory and investment platform focused on the clean energy sector is looking to add an M&A Associate to its corporate finance team. With a strong track record in capital raising, renewable project development, and market-leading investment research, the firm operates across the UK and Europe with offices in London, Edinburgh, and Amsterdam.

This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact transactions that accelerate the energy transition. The team has advised on over £20bn in capital raising and has a deep track record in renewable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support execution of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory mandates
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses
  • Prepare investment memoranda, pitch materials, and client presentations
  • Conduct sector and company research to support business development and deal origination
  • Engage with clients, investors, and project developers throughout deal processes
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across research, asset management, and capital markets

Candidate Profile

  • 2–4 years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, M&A, or transaction services
  • Strong modelling, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Passion for the energy transition and understanding of the renewable energy sector
  • Confident communicator and team player, able to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience in infrastructure or energy deals is a plus
