Job Description:

M&A Analyst/Associate – Infrastructure & Renewables (London)

An award-winning and elite M&A advisory team is seeking to hire an Analyst or Associate to support its growing deal pipeline. Specialising in transactions across real assets including renewable energy, flexible power, real estate, and core economic and social infrastructure, this team advises some of the most sophisticated infrastructure investors, private equity funds, and developers in the market.

With access to an exceptional volume of live and upcoming deals, this is a rare opportunity to work across the full M&A lifecycle from origination to execution in a collaborative and commercially sharp environment that rewards excellence without the bureaucracy of a bulge-bracket setup.

What you’ll get:

  • Exposure to the full deal lifecycle: origination, valuation, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and close
  • Access to top-tier infrastructure funds, developers, and institutional investors
  • Broad sector coverage across renewables, flexible energy, real estate, and infrastructure
  • Fast-tracked career progression in a merit-driven, non-hierarchical environment
  • Extensive on-the-job learning with senior team involvement at every stage
  • Ongoing structured training and development
  • An elite, high-performance team culture focused on collaboration, not ego
  • The chance to join a firm with the strongest mid-market pipeline in the sector

Role responsibilities:

  • Build and oversee detailed financial models to support valuations and transactions
  • Prepare key marketing materials: teasers, information memoranda, management presentations, and pitchbooks
  • Support on active mandates throughout the full transaction process
  • Assist with due diligence across commercial, legal, and technical workstreams
  • Engage with clients, management teams, investors, and lenders
  • Support lender engagement and commercial negotiations
  • Monitor market trends and contribute to origination strategy
  • Attend client meetings and participate in industry events

About you:

  • Likely currently working at a fund, investment bank, or specialist financial advisory firm
  • Solid experience in infrastructure, corporate finance, accounting, or a related M&A advisory field
  • Strong technical ability in financial modelling and valuation
  • Deep interest in infrastructure and the energy transition
  • Commercially sharp, with an appreciation of the full M&A process
  • Self-motivated, organised, and capable of juggling competing deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving approach
  • German language skills would be highly beneficial

This is a stand-out opportunity to join one of the most active and respected infrastructure M&A advisory teams in the market. If you’re ready to accelerate your career and play a key role in transformational real asset transactions, we’d love to hear from you.
