Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust in Guildford invites applications for a Band 6 Lymphoedema Nurse (13-month secondment/ fixed-term) based at the Beacon Centre. The role delivers lymphoedema assessment, treatment, education and ongoing support within a specialist community team.

The successful applicant will work on high-quality lymphoedema care, education, and service development, joining a supportive, clinically led NHS foundation trust with strong patient-focused values.

Formación

• Registered Nurse.
• Degree or masters level education.
• Specialist tissue viability or lymphoedema qualification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive assessment and management of patients with lymphoedema and chronic oedema.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment programmes, including compression therapy and skin care management and exercise advice.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans.
• Support patients to self-manage their condition and improve quality of life.
• Work collaboratively with acute, community, and specialist services.
• Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide education and training to patients, carers, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
• Participate in the ongoing evaluation of patient outcomes and service effectiveness.
