Job summary

A leading company in the electrical services field is looking for a Low Voltage Switchgear Field Service Engineer to retrofit, service, and maintain electrical switchgear across the UK. The role involves travel and focuses on routine maintenance and upgrading protection and control relays. Ideal candidates will have experience in low and medium voltage systems, preferably obtained through an apprenticeship, and be comfortable working in various environments such as power stations and hospitals.

Qualifications

• Electrician or Electrical Technician maintenance or retrofit experience.
• Ideally from an apprentice route.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Service and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Routine maintenance, full service, legacy inspections.
• Upgrading and replacing obsolete protection relays.
