Job summary

AVK-SEG in the UK/Europe is seeking an LV/HV Load Bank Engineer to design, install, commission and maintain load bank systems for LV and HV applications across the region. You will ensure reliable operation of power sources, perform load tests, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the Service and Projects divisions.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of electrical theory and high-voltage principles, particularly in power generation.
• Experience in load bank design, operation, testing methods, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of logistics and asset transportation for LV load bank assets and HV packaged substations.

Responsibilities

• Design and install, commission and maintain load bank systems in critical settings.
• Conduct load testing and troubleshooting to ensure safe operation and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians and clients to provide technical support and innovative solutions.
• Develop and follow safety protocols and industry standards for high-voltage work.
