Job summary

Bauer Media Outdoor is seeking a Jointer to join our construction team across multiple sites in the UK for ICP-related LV electrical work on advertising infrastructure. You will work to required standards and timelines.

Expect travel to sites in the North West with occasional further travel and some night work. Lodgings and reasonable overnight expenses are provided, with potential for subcontracted work during slow periods.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
• Be open to on-call duties and overtime (compensated)
• SHEA Power qualification
• First Aid at work
• Knowledge of HSG47
• Knowledge of COSHH
• EUSR LV1&2 preferred (training provided)
• NRSWA Accredited (desired)

Responsibilities

• Completing joints, disconnections and reconnections to LV voltage
• Live working on LV networks
• Installing DNO/Spec cable and ducting underground
• Installation of electrical feeder pillars and cutouts

AboutTheRole

A few years ago, we brought the construction of our advertising suites in house. Since then, the team have been extremely successful in delivering hundreds of site builds, including out newest digital units, billboards and large storm instillations. We're excited to be working on some interesting projects this year, including becoming NERS accredited and bringing the ICP activities inhouse so we're now looking for jointers to join our construction team in St.Helens, Bristol and Dartford.

Whatyou'llbedoing

As a BMO Jointer, you must be capable of ensuring ICP related electrical work for our advertising infrastructure in the area is carried out to the applicable standards and within the timescales.

This will involve travelling to sites (roadside and public areas) in the North West, plus occassional travel further afield and some night working dependent on business needs - sufficient notice will be given with lodgings and reasonable overnight expenses provided, with the possibility of undertaking subcontracted activities for third parties if there are extended periods of inactivity.
