Job Title – Luxury Tailor Made Travel Consultant

Department/Sector – Travel

Salary – Excellent basic salary plus commission and benefits

Our client is a luxury travel specialist who are urgently looking for a proven experienced travel consultant with a passion to sell luxury and experiential holidays.

You must have experience of selling luxury holidays around Europe and the Scandinavia region, although you will frequently deal with worldwide clients as well.

You will have excellent destination knowledge, either gained through living or working in Europe or Scandinavia, or through extensively travelling and selling the region.

You must have a proven track record in sales, ideally gained in a luxury or tailor made travel company, you will have high touch customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Use your destination knowledge and personal insight to design and convert to sale
  • Maximise every enquiry
  • Offer the highest levels of customer service
  • Use preferred partners to offer high quality product
  • Confidently interact with clients by email, phone and occasionally face-to-face to build loyal relationships and repeat business

Key Skills/Experience Needed:

  • A proven track record in short-haul (ideally luxury) sales in the Scandinavia and Europe region
  • GDS experience
  • Commercially aware
  • In depth knowledge of Scandinavia and Europe regions
  • Passion and enthusiasm for travel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, actively listening to and fulfilling clients’ needs.
  • Results orientated with personal motivation to deliver and exceed targets.
  • Strong time management and personal organisation skills
  • Confident with clients and able to build trust and loyalty
