Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar retail stockroom role is essential.
• Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail.
• Confidence using stock and inventory management systems.
• Ability to manage competing priorities during peak trading periods.
• Reliable, proactive approach and strong teamwork skills.
• Experience within fashion, accessories, footwear, beauty, jewellery or homeware would be particularly relevant.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing deliveries, checking stock against delivery documentation.
• Managing stock transfers, returns and replenishment.
• Completing stocktakes and cycle counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate records on stock management systems.
• Keeping the stockroom organised, safe and accessible.
• Supporting the sales team with product availability and customer requests.
