Job summary

Raffles Hotels & Resorts, London, is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public spaces and residences. You will work closely with the Senior Housekeeper to ensure a seamless guest experience across front and back-of-house areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily task list for cleaning and presenting public areas.
• Adapt cleaning frequency based on guest numbers and events.
• Maintain a balance between priority and non-priority tasks.
• Stay informed about events, occupancy, and outlet bookings during shifts.
• Clean public areas, restaurant, guest, and staff toilets per SOPs.
• Use appropriate cleaning chemicals per procedures.
• Keep service areas clean, tidy, and stocked throughout shifts.
• Report loss, damage, or equipment issues to the Housekeeping Department.
• Report technical issues and stains via the system for prompt action.
• Perform regular deep cleaning as instructed and interact with guests professionally.
• Know hotel and residence facilities, including outlet hours.
• Hand over lost property to Security; cover duties in absence of line manager.
• Possibly work in a different department or restaurant as required.
