ROLE OVERVIEW

This role embodies Diageo’s ambition to be the world’s leading, most-trusted consumer goods company. The successful candidate will represent our luxury brands, bringing them to life for customers and consumers, and building strong partnerships within the industry.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams and Brand Ambassadors, you will deliver the annual P&L for your accounts through securing pouring contracts and executing tailored activations for top-tier outlets. Excellent activation skills and collaborative working are essential for delivering exceptional customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Enhance brand equity and sales in the On-Trade sector by building relationships with key outlets.

  2. Manage customer relationships effectively through negotiation, persuasion, and conflict resolution.

  3. Take responsibility for P&L within your customer portfolio, making ROI-driven decisions aligned with growth objectives.

  4. Partner with the Luxury Marketing and Advocacy teams to promote our brands through outlet activations, increasing visibility and talkability.

  5. Achieve distribution and execution targets consistently.

  6. Coordinate with a Luxury curation manager on menu creation, activations, and customer engagement, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.

  7. Forecast accurately, manage performance metrics, and maintain brand visibility through proactive RTM and supply team collaboration.

  8. Stay informed on consumer trends within Diageo GB, ensuring these insights inform brand and customer strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  1. Commercial mindset with a proactive approach.

  2. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with systems.

  3. Experience with luxury brands or high-end accounts is preferable.

  4. Existing network within the GB on-trade is advantageous but not mandatory.

  5. Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across functions.

  6. Ability to communicate the heritage and story of luxury brands effectively.

  7. Deep understanding of consumer desires and engagement strategies.

  8. Ability to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and decision-makers.

  9. Stay informed on industry trends and in-depth knowledge of spirits.

  10. Engage with decision-makers in the on-trade and off-trade networks to ensure optimal brand visibility and consumer engagement.
