Job summary

Champneys Forest Mere in the United Kingdom is seeking a Kitchen Porter to support the Kitchen and Food & Beverage teams. The role focuses on cleanliness, safety and efficiency to help chefs deliver outstanding dining experiences in a luxury wellbeing environment.

You will keep kitchen areas, equipment and storerooms spotless, assist with deliveries and stock rotation, follow hygiene procedures and work as part of a respectful team.

Qualifications

• Must maintain excellent personal hygiene and presentation in line with company standards.
• Follows health, safety and food hygiene procedures at all times.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a busy kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas.
• Wash kitchen equipment, crockery and cutlery to support service.
• Store food deliveries correctly and rotate stock.
• Assist with stocktakes and deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with chefs and teams.
• Report equipment faults promptly.
• Keep storerooms clean and organised.
• Ensure floors are dry and walkways clear during service.
• Follow cleaning schedules and sign off.
