Job summary

Edwardian Hotels London is seeking a Safety and Security Officer to help protect guests and staff in a luxury 5‑star setting. You will patrol, monitor systems, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

The role requires discretion, strong observation, and a calm, professional manner, including nights/weekends. SIA licensed candidates with hotel security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel or corporate security.
• SIA licensing required (Door Supervisor).
• Strong communication and discretion are essential.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Proactive, observant and professional in guest-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant awareness of hotel activity and safety of guests and staff.
• Conduct patrols of guest floors, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor CCTV, access control systems and alarm panels.
• Support VIP arrivals, events and crowd management when required.
• Enforce hotel policies while delivering exceptional guest service.
• Liaise with external emergency services when necessary.
