Job summary

Hyatt Centric Cambridge is seeking a Painter and Decorator to maintain luxury interiors and exteriors, reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will ensure a five-star standard across guest rooms, restaurants, and public areas.

You will perform high-quality painting, wallpapering, sanding, cleaning and filling, and support with preventive maintenance and inventory controls to uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven decorating background, ideally in a luxury or commercial setting.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• High-quality painting, wallpapering, surface sanding, cleaning and filling to achieve immaculate results.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office to minimise guest disruption and follow health and safety protocols.
• Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and assist with inventory management.
