Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy seeks a Maintenance Assistant for a luxury country hotel in Bridport. You’ll be hands-on maintaining buildings, equipment, grounds and facilities to a high standard, with repairs and upkeep across a diverse site.

The role is physically active and requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed; private health and dental insurance, pension and staff discounts are included as part of the benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in building, maintenance or similar trade.
• Practical and proactive approach.
• Physically fit and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external repairs, decoration, maintenance and servicing as required.
• Replace consumables such as bulbs and batteries and keep maintenance records (Health & Safety).
• Support upkeep of roads, tracks, buildings and wider site facilities.
• Use, maintain and store equipment, machinery and tools properly.
• Coordinate with approved contractors and third-party maintenance projects.
