Job summary

Swinton Estate is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our Laundry team and uphold the highest standards of presentation and guest comfort across the estate. You will process guest and estate laundry, maintain facilities and equipment, and support housekeeping as required.

We offer both part-time and full-time roles, with £12.71 per hour plus TRONC, and a strong focus on sustainability, wellbeing, and professional growth within a prestigious, carbon-neutral estate.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and work practices to deliver the highest quality of laundry service.
• Process guest laundry, including washing, hand washing, ironing, and minor repairs where required.
• Launder soft furnishings and other estate laundry items as needed.
• Carry out general cleaning duties within the laundry and housekeeping areas.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Maintain laundry equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
