Job summary

Swinton Estate is seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant/Driver to join our team. The role focuses on delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the estate, processing guest and estate laundry, and supporting housekeeping operations.

We offer part-time and full-time positions, with evenings and weekends required. Training will be provided, and you’ll work in a carbon-conscious, luxury hospitality environment that values quality, care, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures and work practices to deliver the highest quality of laundry service.
• Process guest laundry, including washing, hand washing, ironing, and minor repairs where required.
• Launder soft furnishings and other estate laundry items as needed.
• Carry out general cleaning duties within the laundry and housekeeping areas.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
• Maintain laundry equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
