Job summary

Swinton Estate is seeking a skilled Maintenance operative to carry out upkeep on its buildings, farms, hotels, spa, and staff accommodation. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, coordinate external contractors, and keep accurate logs while contributing to safety and environmental goals.

Qualifications

3 years’ experience in a similar position.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
UK Driving Licence.
Trade background desirable.
Ability to operate mobile access equipment.
Familiarity with risk assessments and safety paperwork.

Responsibilities

Undertaking general maintenance items as required by the business.
Collaborating with the team to undertake reactive and planned maintenance across the Estate and Leisure assets.
Attend all statutory health and safety training.
Maintain logbooks; coordinate external contractors; ensure required certifications are filed.
Promote environmental responsibility and reduce the carbon footprint.
