Job summary

Signature Senior Lifestyle is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor in Reigate to ensure the smooth running of housekeeping across a luxury care and nursing home. You will supervise staff, maintain high cleanliness standards, and train team members in COSHH and health & safety compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to manage multiple departments, and flexibility for alternate weekends. This position is based on full-time hours in a care-home environment in Reigate.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge and Health & Safety compliance.
• Experience leading a busy housekeeping team.
• Ability to train and supervise staff on cleaning rotas and standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee housekeeping services to ensure efficient and cost-effective operation.
• Carry out equipment checks and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain high levels of cleanliness and service quality.
• Manage cleaning rotas and staff workload across shifts.
• Address complaints promptly and report learnings to hospitality manager.
