Job Title – Luxury Beach Sales Consultant

Job Location – London

Salary – 25k Basic with a 35k plus OTE

My client is one of the world’s leading luxury travel companies with a reputation of selling amazing upmarket holidays around the world. They are currently looking for an experienced travel consultant that has extensive knowledge of Islands & Retreats.

The holiday makers that will call you will be looking for a holiday that will let them unwind and reflect. Your role as a travel consultant will be to help the holiday maker find the perfect luxury resort or dream destination.

You will tailor-make the luxury holiday to suit your holiday maker’s needs. In the role you will be booking hideaway havens or luxury private properties.

The destinations you need to have knowledge or past sales experience in are – Maldives, Mexico, Antigua, Barbuda, St Lucia, Brazil or the Caribbean.

Responsibilities

  • Sell high quality tailor-made itineraries for current and future clients. You are ultimately responsible for planning, selling and implementation of itineraries.
  • To make the most of every single genuine ‘sales enquiry’ received. You need to be able to differentiate between good and bad leads so that we maximise revenue and profit.
  • To ensure the product sold to our clients and the supporting information is to the highest standard.
  • To achieve levels of client service at all stages of the process to engender repeat business.
  • To take appropriate opportunities to up-sell and switch-sell products.
  • Interacting with our clients mostly over the telephone – with some face to face clients.
  • Keeping in touch with product developments in your region, ensuring that you remain a true travel specialist with up to date commercial knowledge and understanding of hotels/flights/infrastructure.
  • Demonstrating a total commitment to customer service. It’s your goal to ensure all clients return home having had a trip which exceeds their expectations.
