Pan Pacific London is seeking a Barista for our Straits Kitchen & Bar team. You will deliver personalized, attentive service and act as an ambassador of the Pan Pacific standard, ensuring every guest interaction reflects excellence.

The role requires confidence, empathy and professionalism, with the ability to multitask, upsell, maintain cleanliness, and respond knowledgeably to guest inquiries. We welcome detail-oriented professionals who share a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Provide intuitive service with understanding of guests' needs.
• Multitask effectively without compromising service quality.
• Ability to suggestively sell food, beverages and wines.
• Prepare beverages following Pan Pacific Standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation in the pastry shop while preparing orders.
• Be familiar with operation services/features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.
• Monitor and handle guest complaints by following instant pacification procedures.
• Assist restaurant staff to ensure optimum service when requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences that result in lasting memories
• Multitask effectively by not compromising quality of service and beverage / food preparation
• Ability to suggestively sell food items, beverages and wines
• Ability to prepare any cold –hot beverages following Pan Pacific Standards
• Maintain cleanliness, immaculate presentation and organization in the pastry shop while preparing guests ‘orders
• Be familiar with all the operation services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry
• Monitor and handle guest complaints by following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction
• Assist restaurant staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests, when requested
