Qualifications

• Previous automotive polishing or paint rectification experience.
• Experience with machine polishing, cutting, finishing and associated products.
• Comfort with wet sanding and removing paint imperfections.
• Able to identify scratches, swirl marks and other paint defects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Polish and finish vehicle paintwork to a high-quality standard.
• Identify and rectify paint defects including scratches, swirl marks, dust inclusions and surface imperfections.
• Carry out wet sanding, cutting, polishing and final finishing as required.
• Use machine polishers, compounds and finishing products safely and effectively.
• Inspect completed work to ensure the required cosmetic and quality standards are achieved.
• Work closely with Paint, Bodyshop and Quality teams to resolve finish concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete work within production targets without compromising quality.
