Job summary

The Peninsula London is seeking a Public Area Attendant (Maternity Cover) reporting to the Public Area Supervisor in Housekeeping. The role ensures cleanliness and aesthetic upkeep of all public areas and back areas (hotel and residential) to guarantee guest comfort in these spaces.

Candidates should have luxury hotel housekeeping experience, at least 1 year in public areas, excellent time management and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of luxury hotel public area cleaning experience.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to service quality.
• Excellent time management, organization, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all public areas and back-of-house spaces to hotel standards.
• Provide accurate handover of tasks to the supervisor at shift end.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and assist with stock and safety procedures.
