Job summary

Mint People is seeking Housekeepers for a luxury hotel in Chester City Centre. Immediate starts available, with both full-time and part-time hours in daytime shifts. The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£12.71) plus tips and holiday pay.

You will clean and prepare guest bedrooms and public areas to luxury hospitality standards, replenish amenities, and report maintenance issues. Reliable commuting to Chester City Centre is required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience within a hotel environment would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be able to commute to Chester City Centre for day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms to the highest standards.
• Changing bed linen and replenishing towels, toiletries, and guest amenities.
• Dusting, vacuuming, polishing, and sanitising guest rooms and hotel areas.
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or lost property promptly.
• Ensuring all rooms are prepared and inspected prior to guest arrivals.
• Maintaining cleanliness in corridors, stairways, and public areas where required.
• Following hotel procedures relating to health & safety and infection control.
• Handling cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
• Delivering exceptional attention to detail and supporting the hotel's luxury guest experience.
• Working efficiently to meet daily room targets while maintaining quality standards.
