Job summary

TGB Spa in Brighton is seeking a passionate Hair Stylist to join our luxury salon. You’ll deliver cutting-edge services, from cutting and colouring to styling and extensions, aligning with current L'Oréal-led trends while building your personal brand.

This part-time role (32 hours/week) offers a competitive base salary with commission, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow your client base. Evening and weekend availability is required to fit our salon schedule.

Qualifications

• Certified Level 2 NVQ in hairdressing (or above).
• At least 1 year salon experience on the floor.
• Strong skills in cutting, colouring, styling and extensions.
• Experience with curls and all hair types.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Positive, team-focused attitude with ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full range of professional hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and extensions.
• Conduct thorough client consultations and offer expert advice.
• Maintain high service standards to make clients feel valued.
• Educate clients on hair and scalp health with tailored treatments and products.
• Stay updated with evolving techniques and seasonal trends.
• Attract new clients through personal engagement, reviews, and referrals.
• Collaborate with Social Media Team to create engaging content.
• Support daily salon operations by keeping a clean, safe environment.
