Job description

We need Luton Van Drivers Immediate Start

Location: Beaumont Leys, Leicester

Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour

You will be working for a client that delivers white goods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Deliver white goods to various locations with a second man, with up to 25 drops per day.
2. Assist with unloading heavy items, using equipment such as a sack barrow, and help with the loading process, especially in challenging environments like uneven terrain or stairs.
3. Complete deliveries, ensuring all appliances are safely unloaded and placed at the customer's location.
4. Work alongside a full-time employee who will lead most of the unloading; your role will be to help and support where necessary.

Requirements

1. Minimum of 2 years' experience van driving.
2. Full, clean driving licence.
3. Experience driving a Luton van with a tail lift and sack barrow.
4. Must wear steel toe-capped boots, hi-vis jacket, and non-branded clothes.
5. Flexibility with start times, as they vary from 4am-7am, with finishing times between 4pm-8pm.
