Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust seeks a Clinical Fellow in Lung Cancer and Interventional Pulmonology in the Respiratory Medicine department at Glenfield Hospital. The post is 12 months, with start around February 2026, and involves running lung cancer clinics and interventional bronchoscopic sessions within an established team serving a large population.

You will participate in MDTs, learn ultrasound-guided procedures, and contribute to the thoracic oncology pathway while engaging

Qualifications

• GMC registration and NHS experience as Respiratory SpR.
• Experience delivering lung cancer services.
• Knowledge of thoracic oncology pathways and MDT processes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the lung cancer service with designated clinics and interventional bronchoscopy sessions.
• Coordinate weekly MDTs and liaise with primary care, oncologists, thoracic surgeons and radiologists.
• Attend thoracic oncology clinics and ultrasound-guided procedures as required.
